It’s been a long 4 months since I ordered the boat, but it is finally here. 2012 WX1900.

I have not made a final decision on an engine yet, but it will be black. I kind of really want a 4stroke on the back, but I don’t know if I want to go the Vrod route again. Believe it or not, I was kind of thinking about merc’s new 150 4stroke. I have talked to 1 person that has a Yamaha 150 on the back of a WX1900, and he gets 47-49mph depending on load. I’m not looking for a speed demon, just something that will get me close to 50mph. I’m not worried about retail, because I plan to keep it for a long time. Does anyone know someone with a 150 on the back of a WX1900? If so, what do they think. I’ve owned 3 WX1880’s. Can anyone that has gone from an 1880 to a 1900 give me your thoughts on the difference between the two. I know how a 150 pushed the 1880, and they say the specs on the 1900 are the same as far as weight and length go. Anyone who has made the switch, do you feel the 1900 is slower or performs any differently than the 1880? Happy to here your thoughts or opinions. The boat will be used for a few tournaments, but mainly for fishing by myself or taking the kids.

Mark this is just my opinion and I run a Ranger 619 with a 225 4 stroke Yami. But your boat has a max H.P.rating for 200 and I would’nt go any less than that. You’ll be glad you did in the long run. Nice looking boat!!

I’ll look for it but I seem to remember a post from Skeeter Boat Center saying that the 1880/1850 was a faster hull than the 1900 with a 150 on back pushing. I also remember 150 is the max on the 1850, but the 1900 has a 200 max.

    I’ll look for the post.

Here is the thread I was thinking of.

I’m not sure that it answers your questions.

What are your colors on this boat?

Sides and deck stripe are black onyx. Inside is gunmetal. Consoles are black onyx. Stripes on side are laser red and black galaxy. If I could change anything, I would make the pinstripe on the “S” stripes be sterling instead of gunmetal so it would show up better.

I got to see it in person on Friday. It looks even better in person. I can’t wait to get a picture of the boat in the sun. It will look really sharp. Went with the 200 opti for various reasons. I can’t wait to get it wet!
