Relocating Humminbird fishfinder

With the “blow out” deals on the HDS’s now I decided to add another HDS to the back of my WX 2000T, I now have a 10 and a 7, I plan on running structure on the 10 and mapping on the 7.
Because of this I am toying with re-locating the Humminbird FF that came with my Skeeter to the front. I bought a flush mount kit for it, but I’m not sure what else I will need. I doubt the transducer cable will reach, I am guessing I can re-locate the power cable up front. The only reason to move it is to have a depth finder up front for wife or son to use….I never fish from the front of the boat. How tough is it to run the wires to the front? Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

Running wires from the back to the front is pretty easy actually. Just remember to tie up the wires once you have them run.
There should be at least one extra set of power wires up front under the bow panel if you havent used them already. Otherwise just splice into them for power.
I doubt that the transducer wire will be long enough to reach all the way to the front. If not you will need a EC-W10 extension cable. MFG number of 720003-1.
Other than a transducer and power you shouldnt need anything else!!

Thanks for the info Eric! My other option would be to pick up a HDS-5 and run an ether net cable from my structure scan, I have one more port still available…..not sure wifey would be to happy with that though….maybe I better not push my luck!
