Though surely none of us have missed the ridiculous fishing report from James, Grant and Herb. I figured there should be a link here in the Skeeter boat forum covering the simple rigging of the WX2100 for application in the Great Lakes Arena.

This report truly opens the eye’s and drop the jaws for many owners or future owners of Skeeter WX series. I am in hopes James might find the time to further share some detailed pics detailing the precide “In Depth” rigging process for this Laker Round up!!

Again……….WOWSER GUYS!! Your efforts are beyond words for me, and that is saying something. THAT IS SICK!!

I would agree Chris, quite an amazing report!

My mind has been spinning all morning about fishing the great lakes again, and if things work out like I plan, i’ll be dragging an MX up to Door County for Browns in April.

That WX series is one heck of a rig, and i’m hoping it’s little cousin the MX can live up to half of what this boat has done for you guys!

    Hey Chris

Absolutely, I’ll post up more info tonight on boat rigging, etc. I’m dead serious when I say “its so easy, even a walleye fisherman can do it.” Nobody needs to be intimidated in the least by down riggers, etc. and what they add to an angler’s versatility is really quite amazing.

Is it so easy a Bass Guy could do it?

I mean all they do is cast cranks with an occasional drop shot every now and then.

I’ll bet they’d ask “What is that fancy crane looking thing on the side of the boat for?”

That’s all you Chris. BK would probably think a 48″ boom is “about the right power” for a cat rod.

I don’t think he’ll find the thread……Skeeter hasn’t introduced the “Cat Hauler” yet.

Oh yes they do!…they just named it wrong!

Chris, I see everything sooner or later. I save the good stuff ’till last, just like desert after Grouse on the Barbie!

By the way, that 48″ pole is a little soft on the tip for a good cat rod.
