Shawn called me yesterday to go over any concerns or issues I had with the boat to ensure it is in “TIP TOP” shape come next season. Though I didn’t really have any concerns with it as that 300 “Off Shore” never missed a beat I appreciated the call. It has worked well for us to have the SBC winterize and store our boat. Thanks Guys and Shawn…Thanks for the call!! That staff continues to excel at Customer Service.
On the cosmetic side this may be of interest to some; It is true our guide boat likely gets a bit more use on a granite lined “Borderland” fishery like Rainy Lake. In fact all 208 hours this season are from running this big lake. I’m careful with my boat still I often pick customers up from campsites and the back of houseboats. Dave Marquart suggested the add of the “Hamby Keel”. Great add!!
I am happy to report after 208 hours of use in “Sho-Time” I simply have (1) 1/4 inch surface scratch (Right bow Starboard)from a steel pole sticking out of an old dock. This may be purely cosmetic, but it will be fixed and never noticeable to the human eye.
No dents in the aluminum, No sticker rub-offs and frankly it still looks brand spanking new heading into next season. For guys like me that want the performance of glass, yet fish in “Manland”…..Keep this in mind.
