After we delivered our WX2100 to the Skeeter Boat Center for the winter, our family dog “Bailey” seemed to want to stay as the “Watch Dog” for the SBC.

It is my believe she was looking for one last ride. Aren’t we all!!

Special thanks to Dave Marquart for meeting us on Saturday morning. We’ll pick “Sho-Time” up next spring!! Take good care of her. I’m already experiencing seperation anxiety.

Kind of a sad time of year, isn’t it?!

Thankfully I’ve got some time yet on the Mississippi River before putting my girl up permanently for the season.

    Vicious!

I wouldn’t go near that boat…at least without some treats!

It always is. Although I’m usually both mentally and physically drained come Mid-October I commonly find myself saddened as I hang up my “Open water” cleats. Our 2011 season provided us with many tremendous memories!!

She can be temporarily lured away with “Rubber Cheeseburgers” or imitation ground hogs, But consider yourself warned…….She’s quick!!

My Skeeter will be joining Sho-Time soon (too soon) as well. Good to know SBC not only has top notch service, but has top-notch security watching over them. Hope our boats meet up again next year on Rainy Lake after spending the winter together.

Hey Mike I like storing my boat there. They keep things charged, and do my final winterizing plus oil change for the season. Often times during the season I accumulate a few things I want to add or “tweek”. No better time to “Tweek” than during the off season!! No better team to do the “Tweeking” than the SBC.

YES Hope we can make it out on Rainy again next year!!

We’ve got a couple “Heartbreakers” in our family Wendy. My 15 going on 21 year old daughter and our 3 year old Brit!! BTW Bailey could likely drive “Sho-Time” with the electronic throttle on that big “300”. Surely she’d need the “Red Baron” goggles and scarf to complete the look!!

Seeing “Sho Time” in the “SBC Hanger” along with these cold nights has me dreading what is soon to follow. A couple more trips and my rig will soon be joining the temporary rest area. Maybe you guys aren’t all that crazy talking about ice gear after all…

Yeah we’re getting there Nic. I’ve always said 30 degrees on the water with a brisk wind is far more bone chilling that 0 on the ice. I’ve chose to make November my “Me” time. It is often spent in solitude while slipping through cedar swamps and tall ridges in the far reaches of Minnesota’s “Northwoods”. When I emerge I clearly have my sights on the big fish of hardwater. In Minnesota as a sportsman the thought of taking 6 months off the fish is not acceptable for me. In all honesty 1 month off gets me a bit “Twitchy”

    Chris,

I saw “Sho Time” yesterday when I made my maiden voyage over to Skeeter Boat Center. Sharp looking boat!

There painting whiskers on your Yammi and placing a little Secret 7 stink bait under your driver’s seat.

    Price was reasonable too!

I look forward to that!! I have said before the only way my WX2100 could appear any tougher is with a set of antlers off the front possibly sporting a drop tine or two. Whiskers

The “Stink Bait” can’t be any worse than the inadvertant placement of a cup of crawlers last year.

I brought my boat in to get a little work done. Actually its parked right infront of Sho Time and a couple other 2100s, so my 20′ tiller looks like a shrimp in there. Of course I had to take a look at the new boats too.

LOL!! Hopefully the Class of WX2100’s won’t bully the 20′ Tiller. YES nothing quite like checking out the NEW STUFF!!
