I’ll have to admit running big glass on our Granite lined lake here in Borderland took some convincing from Dave at the Skeeter Boat Center. Coming from a long line of “Old School” thinking of Tin up north I just wasn’t sure if I had made the right choice initially. I vividly remember many guys scoffing at my foolish thinking. Now after we’ve nearly completed 2 full years of guiding on Rainy lake I couldn’t possibly imagine running any other boat than my Skeeter WX2100 or what our customers refer to as the “Corvette on Water”. Now looking back I see those same guys who scoffed at my transtion to glass running Skeeters!! LOL!! The deep WX2100 has been a blessing for my back as well as my overall fishing efficiency while on our big water. Dave Marquart and his staff have aligned themselves with a simply dominate line of boats where the endless benefits greatly outweigh the cash outlay in comparison to the comparable competition. Beyond that their personal attention to service ensures we all stay on the water and in the fish!!

A truly deep Thank you from me personally as just another fishing freak, and from our guide service whom you’ve taken such good care of over the past couple years. From day one of running a Skeeter WX2100 we’ve entertained 183 trips with customers……With hardly a scratch on the BIG GLASS!! Tough, Smooth, Comfortable, beautiful and efficient!! Can we get a word out of that! LOL!!

Pictured here is our pride and Joy “Sho-Time” as we await the push off or the 2011 In Depth Outdoors/Rainy lake Houseboats Fall Excursion!! What an exciting time.

I to was very hesitant about going from Tin/Welded to Glass. Being as I also fish many lakes with rocks that will put the fear of God in some (especially Rainy) After a couple years of quality ride, preformance, comfort, and staying dry, I can’t see myself ever going back.
Although I’m a Ranger guy, I think any of these glass cadilacs would change the minds of many.
Hoping the times will allow me a new 620 for 2012 (even though the 2009 is like new )
That’s truely a nice rig Chris!

I’d have to state another resounding I AGREE. After my first season (which isn’t over yet) of running a glass boat, I can’t imagine how I would ever go back to tin.

Every time I’m out, I still come across a condition or situation where the glass hull proves it’s superiority to tin (for my needs/wants).

Dave, Gregg, Chad and Eric also treated me as though I am still their only customer even though I bought the boat 6 months ago. to you SBC and Skeeter.

I agree going from tin to glass is the best switch i have ever made. Not to mention the resale of the Ranger keeps my hard earned greenbacks in my pocket EVERY time I sell and upgrade to a newer Ranger
