    – what prop are you running?
    – are you using a hydrofoil?
    – what kind of performance are you seeing?
    – have you done much testing and tweaking?

I’m hoping to do a little prop testing this weekend. I’ll report back with my experience.

at this point, i’ve kept things as they came from SBC:
    F150
    black stainless 13 3/4 x 19
    no hydrofoil

performance is really good, even with very full load of 2 guys, week’s supply of muskie gear, and 40 gallons of gas it gets on plane quick, top end 47mph at 6000rpm with no porpoising at all.

i see some porpoising when running at mid-range speeds with lower rpms when trying to save gas (~4000rpm/37-40mph). i’m wondering if a prop with a touch more lift or a hydrofoil might help me in that range, and i’d be willing to give up a couple mph on the top end…it is a tiller after all. ;-)

anybody played around with a 4-blade or different prop model?
