Here on Rainy Lake we don’t really fish a night bite. Still on occassion a guide trip will find us fishing up until dark or the “Fishing Queen” will want to take the boat to one of the resorts at night. On a recent trip with IDO’s Ben Gilbertson it was brought up to me that the LED lighting system is a great added value in the standard package of Skeeter Boats WX2100. I thought this was a great point from Ben and frankly haven’t given it much thought until he mentioned that to me. This bright LED lighting positioned well throughout the boat really gives anglers a nice working area in the cockpit and bow for guys that like to fish at night. In fact it is the best I’ve seen coming standard. The LED lights are seemingly another advancement the SKEETER BOAT company has taken to assure anglers a dominate product NIGHT OR DAY!! Now for a flash of brilliance add the underlighting kit beneath the dash and sides to match your ride………. and you’ve got a flat out COOL night rig sure to stop guys on the docks at the pass by!! Coming into resorts lit up like a rockstar…….Gets a bit of attention!! “Sho-Time” doens’t blend well!!

What you didn’t notice was me on my hands and knees reachin up inside your gunnel to investigate, as wiring for side lighting that runs through a rod locker can spell headache UNLESS protected and tied up well. Let me say this….WOW! I don’t know how its attached or held up but the wiring is as solid and stream lined as one could ask for

It is kind of funny Ben. DAILY I am asked about how I rigged this or how I rigged that. In all honesty my mechanical ability……..PRETTY LOW. I want things that work and last in the harshest of conditions. I have no time for failure or apologizing for something not functioning. Thankfully for me the SBC does a awesome job on everything on my boats. My job……catch fish. As my dad said when I was young you don’t need to be good at everthing. Just deal with the best people at what they do, and be the best at what you do. We just catch fish!! The SBC boys do the hard work!!
