Just wondering if anything has been settled as far as the packaging/pricing of this boat? If I have missed the post about this sorry. Please point me in the correct direction if that is the case. If nothing has been finalized, I will wait patiently a bit more.

    Thanks,

    Hi Francisco,

We haven’t received final pricing yet. Expected it about a week ago based on conversations with National Sales and Marketing manager in early May. I believe the holdup is that Skeeter is considering promoting the MX along with several new bass boat models they are launching for 2012 model year with nationally published pricing, and they are trying to work out the details.

As soon as pricing is available, we’ll let everyone know. I do expect upgraded standard feature content as compared to orginal specification 15 months ago. The upgraded standard features would be equipment that 90% of the anglers would want anyway, and by adding them as standard it will improve the overall price/value of the boat. That said, they haven’t revealed what the list of upgraded equipment will be. I’m guessing:

    Tuff coat trailer
    Ratchet tie downs
    Upgraded winch
    Insulated rear live well
Terrova instead of Edge 70 (FourTrex 80 would be n/c option)
    Maybe 3 bank charger
    Starboard gunnels storage
    Under console shelves
Rod Holster instead of open shelves
Possibly rear live well pump out

Not sure how they will handle single vs dual console – but single console will obviously cost less.

Center snap in carpet may or may not be std.

Please don’t take this list as fact since it is my best educated guess. All of the above features would add value to the boat and would be cheaper packaged into base price then optioned out individually. Many of these features were on the proto type boat.

After running the MX through the paces, it can’t get here soon enough.

I can’t wait to take one fishing!!

    Any update?

I asked about an update earlier in the week and the response was that the holdup is due to delays in finalized vendor pricing. And that’s all I know.
