I had a convertable top made for my wx2100. I was a bit worried about the storage positions. In my old boat it just laid down in front of the motors; I didn’t have the baitwell and livewell flip up doors to cause concern.
The maker of the top and I both thought that we didn’t have enough side room to have the top lay behind the jump seats and still allow the flip doors to open in the corners. We devised storage options using stantion posts for above the motors and above the windshield.
It turns out that I probably will be able to lay it down in back. The jump seats will still open with the top laying behind them and in front of the motor. The flip doors on the side open to where they are straight vertically but will not lay over against the gunnel. I think that is good enough for me and may not use the other storgae options much if at all.
Canvas Craft in Rogers MN did a great job again. I have had them do several items of work for me and have always been more than satisfied.
