Skeeter Touch Up Paint

    We unfortunately managed to get a few small scratches on our boat this weekend at the dock. What’s the best option for getting touch up paint?

    I’d call Eric at SBC -Chip Falls to see what he has to say.

    Interesting. I called Eric and was told to use 3M buffing compound and it should blend the areas. I’ll give it a whirl tonight.

    He’s a wealth of knowledge…

    FWIW I’ve buffed out some dock rash in my day with very good results.

    Just as a fyi, both Ramsey & Chippewa falls have in stock the metal flake for a ding repair with epoxy if needed. This would be different than if a gel coat finish.
