Most stock will be single axle, if you like you can order a tandem axle…We will have one at the Open House this weekend in Chippewa Falls, WI at Skeeter Boat Center.

Thanks Cal, Dont think I can make the open house, but Im hoping there will be some pictures posted. Any idea how this platform compares to the W 1850? React keel for sure. Snap in carpet? Upgrades to Trolling motor and electronics? (can it be ordered without them?

I saw the Solera at the Mpls. Boat Show this weekend – very impressed!

For those of you who saw it also, was there anything you didn’t like about it?

    Thanks.

Only thing I did not like was the height on the trailer given at 87 inches. Have the standard 7 foot high door. Take away half an inch for molding and I have 83 1/2 inches of clearance so I would be SOL. All my boats have been garage kept and I am not about to change. Too many thefts going around. On the other hand, a same sized Lund 189 GL, even a couple of inches wider but lighter, is listed at 82 1/2 inches on trailer and rated for 200 verses 175

From my first day on Ido I’ve been told to Max out the hp on any boat.

Not so with the Solera. This like many Skeeters was designed around a particular motor. In this case the Yami 150. Other boat manufacturers will hang any brand motor on the back of their boat. All good engines but not designed with any particular boat in mind.

I understand this could be a point of disagreement, I’ll let you know in a couple weeks.
