Skeeter or Minnkota sliding bracket for ulterra?

    Which would you choose? Are these sliding brackets tight? I had a MK-31 before and it would shift a bit not much but you could here it.

    I have the Skeeter bracket. It’s tight and rattles are nonexistent. I have had no problems. I have no experience with the Minn-Kota slide.

    Skeeter bracket here too. Very nicely done, solid and sliding is great. Just wish it didn’t require a wrench to remove. I take mine off when using the cover. I’m sure others appreciate the security of needing the wrench.

    i bought a used boat with the skeeter slide. It doesn’t slide very well. Do maintain this slide, do you use silicone sprays?
