As many of you have seen, Skeeter Boat Center is changing their name to The Boat Center, and are adding Ranger Boats as well as Mercury Marine to their already awesome lineup of boats and motors. (Ranger and Mercury only being available at their Chippewa Falls location)

I couldn’t be happier for them! So much of a positive buying experience is good communication, attention to detail when it comes to rigging, and the customer service after the sale. Adding Ranger and Mercury can only be a good thing, giving customers more options with the same great customer service!

P.S I still love my 2090 and Yamaha SHO peace

I’m anxious to see performance and reliability on the new Pro XS four strokes. So far i’ve heard all good things.

I’m not sure what their plan is. I see the first few Rangers they got in have Mercury’s on them.

Nothing more than my Opinion, but can’t see Ranger limiting their boats to a single brand Motor. At least I hope not!!!
Congratulations ‘Boat Center’. Bringing Ranger to the table will be brining me to you from time too time.

I would guess the Morris group which owns Tracker & Ranger has a pretty good deal on Mercs because of the volume of Trackers sold.

Congrats to Dean and Dave for their new line of Ranger boats. They provide this area with excellent unsurpassed fishing boat and service expertise. I’d bet no one will get Dean to pick between a similar sized Ranger and Skeeter. He’ll certainly go down the “it depends on what you want ” path. He’d be too sly to pick one,…thought I saw his name on the primary ballot for “Minnesota State Boat General”,…lol.

Man how would a guy even choose walking into a place like that with all those great brands under one roof? This is also interesting because not long ago Ranger wouldn’t allow dealers who also carried Lund to carry the Lund fiberglass boats.

Like a lot of guys, I met Dean back when he ran Evert’s on P4. Dean is a wonderful guy and deserves every bit of the success he’s had at the Boat Center. Congrats, Dean!

Yes Yamaha is an option ! However, the large block 250 & 300 have been extremely tight supply and as I type this, the availability is next to nill. Hopefully that will change sooner than later.
