Six Gill Fishing Saga

Six Gill fishing is having a BOGO sale on their rods. I’m wondering if anyone has personal experience with their SAGA series fishing rod. I need a couple moderate actions and they have them.

Okay I found the threads. Thanks. Seems like everyone just gets the casting rods and the coolers though. Theres not alot of quality moderate spinning rods out there so I’ll get a couple and see how they go. Not real excited about stainless guides though.

I bought a Saga series casting rod (along with Mykatta (sp?)) this summer. My son used it a few times and it was fine.

I avoid this brand now. I bought two of them last year. I broke one on a hook set. It was no monster fish… I sent pics to them at their request. They told me it was my fault not a manufacture defect. Excuses..excuses….

I think BearCat is a fan of Sixgill. Maybe he’ll chime in whether he has or not

I run the lykan series rods mainly. Never seen a saga. I’ve broke one of there rods by stepping on it and they replaced it. Had a issue with a bearing in a bait caster after 3 years of abuse and they sent me new ceramic bearing for free

Never tried the SAGA. I have 4 of their rods. Two Lykans and have only used the medium which I like. The other is a MH. I also have a Kranken and like that so far. Haven’t caught many fish on it. The other casting rod is an Anura for flipping. Haven’t used that yet either. I have 2 of their Hamarr casting reels and like the one I put on the Kranken rod. No backlashes and there were a few times when I expected one.
I’d buy more but don’t need any.
