Sitka Alaska Fishing Trip

IDO Friends,

My family is heading way up North to Sitka Alaska next week to go fishing in the ocean for multi species action. I have never been fishing up there and will be a trip of a lifetime for sure.

This is a fully guided/lodging experience and all fish are flash frozen ready for transport back home.

We will be targeting: Halibut, King Salmon, Sable Fish, and Rockfish on our trip.

Good luck on your trip. That’s definitely a bucket list deal for me. That and a moose hunt. I look forward to your report upon return!

You’re gonna love it! I really enjoyed my trip out of Seward. One piece of advice is to grab a small bottle of non-drowsy dramamine and take it before you board and again at lunch. Even if you never get seasick at home, the ocean is totally differnt and it’s cheap insurance. My dad didn’t take my advice and the backseat of our rental car paid the price.

Currently working out of Sitka. Been getting limits everyday by noon or so. Weather the last few days has been bad but it looking to get better soon
