There are guys driving on Sinai, but keep in mind it is one of the most inconsistent lakes year after year for ice conditions in Eastern SD. There’s a heave out from the boat ramp this year. Heard the southwest narrows had sketchy ice still as well. When in doubt, drill out ahead or team up with somebody who’s been fishing the lake lately.

There are springs in that lake so… you can go from lots of ice to barely enough to stand on in a few feet. There is no marker or indication that the ice is bad either. People drive out there all the time but…. gotta be damn careful

I’ll echo what was said above, it is possible but be very careful. It is a deeper lake (30’+) that always freezes late in the year, specially when waterfowl stick around and keep random pockets open late. Add in the various springs in the lake and it is a recipe for disaster. An ATV/UTV would be a much better idea if you had access to one.
