“Society’s way failed,” Miller said. “My way didn’t.” – Red Wing man’s spring shotgun wounded a burglar breaking into his WI cabin for the 5th time.

6 months in jail, 100 hours of community service and near $14k in fines.

I couldn’t find how long the burglar received but he did go to jail after the pellets were removed from his legs.

Personally I don’t see an electric fence tickle getting anyone into too much trouble but then I’m not a lawyer.

I live on a corner and have had 5 Tina Smith signs stolen in the last few weeks.

The last one I had welded the wire frame to T-posts that was driven 4′ into the ground. It looks like they used an angle grinder to cut the wire frame and take yet another sign.

The current one is being watched by an outdoor webcam. Stealing political campaign signs is a felony.

I have a friend many years ago had to park his truck in his parents driveway. Two times in a span of a few months someone broke into the truck and stole his radio. After the second time he duck taped razor blades around the outside edges of the
back of the radio. The next time they broke into his truck his radio was still there, and there was a lot of blood in the truck. They also cut up his seat on their way out. He had to go find a replacement seat at a junk yard, and did have a fair amount of cleaning to do, but in the end he felt it was worth it.

How about some one with a medical device
    or
You know that metal plate in my head? I had to have it replaced, cause every time Catherine revved up the microwave I’d urine my pants and forget who I was for a half hour or so.

My “Hamms 2020” sign is still safely standing in the yard. I’d rather vote for a beer can than either of our two clown options.

    Pick your battles.

Still not sure how anyone could be so enamored with something that they need to put an eyesore sign in their yard. Probably mental illness and insecurity.

what you put in your yard, what I put in my yard is nobody’s business, eyesore or not. if it doesn’t pose a health or safety issue then you got nothing to say about it. when we raised horses had a lady complain about the smell of the manure pile when she was out for “her walk” simple solution, go walk somewhere else if it’s too much for you.

Tape single edge razor blades all around the back edges. 😈 that was a late 60’s trick for window sills when I lived in the jungle of Minneapolis. The bad guys finger prints were everywhere!

Tina Smith hummmmm I’ve heard the name before but can’t place it. Must be somebody special to have a lawn sign or maybe she is a missing person?

Everyone assuming it’s a political sign. It’s not a political sign at all. It’s sign that supports all the law enforcement who go out and do their job everyday despite what all the media and hippies say about them. They put it All on the line everyday.

I didn’t assume it was a campaign or political sign. In fact, I don’t care what kind of sign it is to be honest. People need to stay off other people’s property and stop stealing or damaging them.

I personally will not put a sign in my yard because I think they are an eyesore on a nice green well manicured lawn, but that doesn’t mean no one else can. Put the sign up and catch those little punks.

I have had this brazenly political sign in my yard for 6 months and nobody has touched it. Which is amazing considering how whipped up people get these days.

    I’d bet money it’s teenagers.

Which means they’d probably fall for some pretty stupid stuff, but also means they probably don’t want to get caught by mommy or daddy who pay for everything who probably oppose their sign stealing.

You do realize law enforcement has been hyper politicized since that incident in Minneapolis? Supporting law enforcement or not supporting law enforcement is the most polarizing political statement you can make right now. If you’re in the metro area posting such a sign is apt to get you some unwanted attention.
