I was out 2 weeks ago and ran the shuttle down to 28%. I didn’t have the access to the charger until today, 2 weeks later. I turn the shuttle on before I hooked up the charger – 81%. Hows that possible?

EPG – it’s all about the method of determining that %. The meter is not counting electrons, instead uses a single point state of charge measurement. Because the discharge is flat on Lithium batteries, spot checks have a large margin of error. They can track a change of charge and also easily show dead and topped off. Essentially, 28%-81% is almost the same value. And, when the battery sits, electrons migrate and sit on the anode and cathod, act something like a charged capacitor. When you flip it on after resting, it then reads high starting out.
