I’ve been looking at the showdown 2.0 the size impresses me. I like the idea of being able to carry it around while setting tip ups or testing holes. But my question is does it do ok jigging?

It’s the only flasher I currently own. Buy it, you won’t be disappointed. My brother forgot to charge his battery over the summer and his flasher didn’t work last weekend. The troller runs on AA’s so forgetting to recharge is never a problem. The last 2 years I’ve been holding it in my hand while jigging which is a little clumsy until you get used to it. I did buy the kit this year so I can set it on the ice like it’s big brother.

My Ice Troller 2.0 works great for jigging, as long as it doesnt fail you (ive had 3 trollers go bad) its all dandy.

Almost weightless to carry, combo that with a clam plate drill auger for the ultimate light weight hole hopping experience.

watched one in action yesterday and it was amazingly better then what i was expecting. thinking of getting one myself now. fits in the pocket of my ice suit and i can hole hope with it till i find the fish. its not my lx7 but it still is a very good unit.
