hi guys I currently have a hds 10 gen2 not touch with lss1, I was thinking of upgrading to a hds 12 gen2 touch and putting the 10 on the bow, do I have to upgrade to the lss2 transducer? and if so will I need a different structure scan box aswell? any info would be great cheers Tim

SS module is built in on the touch unit,so no need for a another box.You will need an adapter cable to use LSS1 ducer on a touch unit(LSS2).

Maybe even eliminate LSS1 module, and connect LSS1 ducer directly to the touch unit with just the adapter cable?

Main reason I got the Gen2 touch was built-in module,no extra box to hide.

If you already have the Lss-1 transducer and module you can run the Ethernet cable to the HDS12 same as you have with the HDS10 Gen 1. That is what I am doing with my HDS12 Gen 2 after replacing my HDS10 Gen 1 about a year ago. Or sell the Lss-1 transducer and module and pick up an Lss-2 transducer and plug right into the HDS12.
