I’ve been searching for the exact Ultrex trolling motor I want for the last two months. I’ve found it in stock at Explosive Powersports in CA. It seems legit, but for some reason I am hesitant to buy it from a site that I know absolutely nothing about. What are your thoughts?

Bottom of site says copyright 2022. But I don’t know much other then that. I’m not the internet guy to get information from. But I was told to look for that right away.
A quick search to the bbb says they are most likely a scam and can not be found.
The reviews come up under 4 different company names all have 1 star reviews and say scam.

Every website that is current typically updates that copyright year at least to my knowledge. This website says 2022 at the bottom. So do many others I’ve just checked. Not sure….
I wouldn’t do it unless you have good fraud protection on your credit card. I ran a couple searches and multiple companies come up for that address and bad reviews for fraud. Seems auto parts is most common from that address

I’ve actually found quite a few places with decent Minnkota stock. Just not the Ultrex that I want.
It says they don’t answer the phone…it keeps thier prices lower? 1st I’ve heard of that customer service.

1368851. Ultrex 80 lb thrust, 52 inch shaft, MDI. Apparently everyone else in the country is looking for that one too.
Keep an eye on Glens Rod and Reel Repair out of Iowa. Do a search for them if you don’t already know about them. They deal new and refurbished Minnkotas. I scored a brand new 80lbs Terrova off them last year when no one else had them. It was on my doorstep the next day. Good luck

Well I got my Ultrex this morning. Ordered from Glenn’s like Ranger suggested. They actually had one in stock and I order yesterday morning and to my shock it was here this morning less than 24 hrs after I ordered it. Unreal.

Glenn’s is great. I’m on my 4th refurbished Minn Kota in the past 15 or more years and no problems. I’m close enough to pick it up and save the shipping.
