No, but you have great taste. I have had a 390 Gold Mallard in 20 and it is a fantastic pheasant gun. It’s my favorite, my father has used it, and it’s also his favorite. Smooth shooting and recoil is dramatically reduced thanks to Beretta’s gas operation.

I found it on a clearance rack at Gander for $795 in December one year. No, I will not sell it to you for $795, thanks for asking.

    Good luck.

OK, so not $795, I bet a cool $800 would do!!! I have the 12 gauge and would love the matching 20.

Oh, come on now. That’s a used gun, Grouse. I’ll give you $600 for it, and not a penny more! tongue

I’ll get back to you Ryan. Don’t wait by the phone, though. coffee

I recall when I bought my 20 gauge, the guy at Gander made some comment about how the only sell a couple of 20s per year and usually just the base model. He was surprised they ever ordered a Gold Mallard for store stock. $795 was a good deal, but I think the original price on it was $899. Which seems absolutely cheap by today’s prices!

I’ve seen them come up on auction sites, but both the silver and gold versions are rare in 20 ga.

My 20 has a very tight full choke pattern, in fact it’s more like Super Full. With premium plated loads, it absolutely dumps roosters with tremendous authority.

And man, I’ll tell you, switching over to a double will remind you instantly of how much recoil that Beretta action sucks up.

My 20 absolutely dumps roosters with tremendous authority with plated #5 loads. Except for very windy or wet/ugly days, it was the only gun I carry for pheasants.
