Before anyone yells at me, I looked and didn’t see the area listed in the regional forum mrgreen

Headed to the area next week and was wondering if it’s worth bringing a rod or two along for after work??

I called a place up there but he isn’t much of a fisherman and didn’t have much for current intel.

Sounded like below the dam would have some potential.

    Anyone from the area?

I won’t be keeping any fish or sharing your hotspots, just looking for something to put a bend in the rod waytogo Open to anything that swims

I went to college up there 94-96. There used to be a small pier by the boat access across from the community college. Not sure if it’s still there or not. We used to cast around there just for fun. Caught some bass and northern.

I’ll have to follow this thread. I drive through TRF to get to the hunting land an have always wanted to fish there. If I pull my boat we always take I29 and fish the Red river instead.

    Well guys I’m glad I brought a rod )

Went out for a two hours after work, caught 7 pike, one was pushing 30″ the rest were hammer-handles, and an 18″ or so walleye in 2′ of water under some foam. I lost both big fish on the jagged rocks and ripping current trying to hoist them up the bank, but got to see them anyway yay

A guy fishing by me caught a couple pike, a smallmouth and even two mooneyes

Found a couple little buddies on the bank too
