Meeting a lady friend tonight in Menomonie and she mentioned she would like to do a little fishing. I am not going to tow the boat out there, but if any one could offer a shore spot, even if it is just rough fish, that would be helpful. Thanks!

    badgerbacker:

You have the area below the dam downtown, then if you head west on 29, on the west side of the river there is a park where one of the trout streams dumps in… There is the Chippewa Bottoms in Dunnsville. There is also the area close to the Cemetary Bay or even the park just to the east of that. There is an park area close to the Conservation Club on the north end of the lake… And there is scads more including many trout streams, Nugget Lake to the west…

    Thanks Mark!
If you had to pick one of those locations (and maybe shared it in a private message) which one should you start with?

And if anyone is looking to trade advice, I know a little about P4… I was born in Red Wing, live walking distance to Evert’s and the back channel ramps, work in Wabasha. So I get to fish it head to tail about 150 times a year. )

sorry I missed the rest of your posts… If I had to pick one, I’d probably pick the one on 29 west…
