Shiners, Rainbows, Fatheads – What choose and why,

    I like to know how everyone picks and fishes the different type of minnows per type of lake, time of year, bait fish type. What’s your theory?

    I basically only walleye fish and if I’m going to a clear lake I’ll usually choose suckers but if I’m fishing a darker lake I lean more toward the shiners just because they have that extra bit of flash.
