    I have 2 slightly used Shimano Tekota 500LC for sale with suffix 832 leadcore spooled. NOT advanced 832 leadcore.

    How old are the reels? I have a 600 but haven’t seen a 500 before. Do you get 10 colors on a 500?

    Reels are 2-3 years old. I haven’t tried to get 10 colors on a 500, but here are the specs.

    TEK500LC
    Mono: 12/440,14/340,16/285 yards
    Braid: 40/390,50/385,65/365 yards

    From my experience I could not get 10 colors on a tekota 500. Think I got 8 colors of 18lb cabelas lead core on mine. Might get more with a different diameter leadcore product. I kept the backing very short also.
