If you are going out on Sherman be careful. The consensus on the ice today was that it is done. There was still a lot of ice up trail 8, but what was shaving nice on Friday is now coming up CHUNKY.
We heard from several groups that a quad went through on trail 1 and had to be winched out of seven feet of water.
Much of the middle of the lake is open.
The bite was extremely slow today with some nice crappies coming from 8. Cats and pike from 20′.
Stay safe, it’s not worth it.
