Anyone been on some eyes??

    Just curious if anyone is having any luck on an eye bite? After 5 days without an eye at Mac last week I need to get away and go catch some eyes.

    Walleye bite is off at this time Ben. Did see one nice one caught by some crappie fishermen up in the trees on Trail 10. Whites were going well this morning but the fog and drizzle kind of hindered finding them right along. We trolled for a few hours to no avail; just whites and drum. Jigged up a few whites. Crappies are nice.

    Will probably try again on Sunday.

    was there on thursday with no eyes but a couple of crappies and saw some whites on the surface.

    Sunday even the crappie bite was off a little. Two of us still got 15 keepers but they were just 10. We would catch one or two to a spot and then have to move on. Should get better as the lake gets lower.

    Too bad most of this water is just going to go down the canal to the Loup River rather than on to some corn.
