Night Whites

    Got a report from a boat that was out Saturday night of 20 big whites and some short walleye. They had to work for their fish a bit but the whites that they landed were REALLY nice.

    I hear it has been a hit or miss deal. Great one night, go to the same spot the next and draw a miss. Also heard of 2 different boats catching a limit of KEEPER eyes under the lights.
    We shyed away from there this weekend, as we were told it was a traffic jam just to get to the cabin . Will spend the weekend up there next weekend, and hope for good weather. Sherm

    We fished Sherman last Friday night and caught more walleyes than whites. You could put about anything in front of the walleyes and they would eat it up.

    Had several different sizes of shad in the lights; which was very nice to see. The mayfly hatch just seemed to be starting.

    I talked to a guy that was also out on Friday night and he said that they caught better than 50 eyes, with 4 of those going over 18″ and 20-some keeper whites. After the sun came up the whites were also pretty active on the surface as well. See you guys up there this weekend.
