Weird deer skull

    Check this thing out We found it when we were shed hunting the other day. Im pretty sure its the same screwball buck that I saw during the 2007 season. It still had velvet during the muzzle season too. If you look close there are 3 different pedicles on each side.
    Any ideas what would cause this?

    My guess it is a stage buck, meaning it never droped its horns from one year to another. i seen one on our property last year and his nubs looked simular to that.

    That is a pretty cool buck, not every one gets to see things like velvet in November. Have you found any other info about this stuff or called a deer biologist?
