    I have fished the breakwall in Lake city with good results.

    The breakwater will offer some limited crappie action as will the backwaters further south. If you have access to a boat, I’d suggest the Wabasha area of the river, south from the city iteslf….there are lots of cuts and small bay-like features that crappies like for either feeding or getting away from current.

    Pepin itself will show you crappie action, again, the best coming from a boat.

    Wing dams will hold a lot of crappie at times.

    I was in the Dells last month as well for a conference, didn’t know I got that close to your place Pat, I would have loved to check out your deer yard and trophy room!

    That is truly an amazing day of shed hunting. The bright side for missing out is they are all sheds and not harvest pics!! Looks like a great up coming season to say the least

    A good day? I would say that is a shed hunting once in a lifetime day! Congrats to your buddies and I’m guessing it would have been the same result if you had gone with anyways.

    Shoot I would have found more than that They are both half blind Best part is they didn’t hit all the spots so we are heading back
