Well I got to get out and go for a little walk this afternoon to do a little bit of scouting at a new spot. I had seen a few bucks there this past fall but had no idea who the land owner was. Well I found out who owned the land on Monday, and couldn’t wait to go take a peak around. I found this on my way out right off of the trail I took going in, I somehow over looked it the first time threw. I’m pumped now finding that made me want to go back and get my headlamp bring on the weekend!!!!!

My first thought was that it had been sitting for a day or two but now i’m wondering if it wasn’t longer, it has some rodent chew marks on it. Maybe a critter picked it up and dropped it? How long does it take for something to start chewing on it? I think that maybe it is an old one from last year.
