same here i just had a pretty good expierence with them. took my boat over monday afternoon for a pretty big repair. said they should have it done for me hopefully by thursday. about 5 hours later i get a call its all done already! i would give them a try. dont go to universal marine…. thats all i have to say about them….
I don’t have anything but good stuff to say about Mark at Kings Marina. I have done business with him and have been treated fair and the work was completed very quick. Just another option is all. Not tryin to take away from Al’s.
Before taking it in you may want to spend about an hour to pull up the floor, tighten up all gas hose clamps and make sure gas gauge sender unit is tight. Look for any cracks in hoses or tank. Also make sure the tank is rigidly held to the boat and none of the brackets are loose. It could be a very simple fix that saves you a bunch of time and coins.
Sorry for the delay. Like I mentioned, It’s one of those dreamers laying right on the trail. Initially I thought it was bigger than it was because he’s laying tines down. I figured there had to be some hidden. But it turned out to be pretty much what it was on top. It was a lotta fun and never gets old .
After I picked it up I thought, man…this looks a lot like that little 4 point I found last year (150) yards from where I found this one. Even down to the main beam being flat the last 3-4 inches, exact same. Too bad the brow on the 5 point was broken cause the yearling has a little bend to it, genetic or not who knows. So you take a look, the last pic has the yearling I found last year and this one from the weekend.
I got a free fiberglass row boat. The catch is, it sat in the weather for so long, the fibers on the bottom are exposed and sticking up. My arms show it. Can these be repaired for relatively cheap or should I just junk it? If you want to refer any boat repair men than it’s okay because I love my boat a lot and really want it to look beautiful.
