Here are the pics. My daughter looks pretty unimpressed with Tim’s first legal (CPR) musky!

Crappies have been a blast. We were on the Chip this past week 200 fish days pretty common for us. Using tube jigs and Minni Merts, no live bait. Casting worked so so bobbers for us was the killer. They were very color and size specific day to day had to keep changing up to find the hot color and size. Fished 11 feet of water over weeds that were up 3 to 4 feet off the bottom. Setting our bobbers 24 inces during the day and towards evening about a foot deep.

    It was a real hoot.

I went out for a stroll on Saturday with my dad and found the smaller 4pt under a cedar tree. I actually forgot my camera/phone at the farm and had to walk an extra 3 miles to get it for the ATL pictures. The other shed is a freakazoid. It has 5 points, but its character is very unique. The picture doesn’t do it much justice.

Why no ATL of the freak shed??? Well, it was picked up my my grandpa on his way to check out the fresh hay bale he put out. Here’s his story…’Well I took the Massey up past the corn field to check on that bale I put out a few days ago to make sure the deer found it. I was following my same tire tracks through the snow and I’ll be darned if I didn’t have to stop the tractor to move this dang shed out of the way. It was right in the tracks’. ‘Where is it?’ I ask. ‘Oh, I just threw it in the gravity box of the tractor. I’m not sure if you’d want it because it’s so ugly’.

    HA! Awesome finds!

ANd even better story! I love how, unless you love shed hunting, it just doesn’t make a lotta sense to others.

OH! And you’re a true IDO guy by hiking 3 miles to get the camera! Oh how we love those atl pics
