    You can try an air compressor, I have used this in a bind and it has worked. The best way is to run lots of clean water through the motor with a hose and the ear muffs. You could also submerge the lower unit in a tub full of water. If you have not at least changed the impeller in a few years, you might just think about doing that. I do mine every couple years. Dry rot will eat up impellers.

    After a few empty-handed attempts, I finally struck gold yesterday. It was at the edge of a cedar patch, which is our area’s winter bedding/feeding area.

    The buck was one my dad passed up opening day of shotgun season due to the new 4pt Anter Point Restrictions. The other side was all busted up and he couldn’t tell if the side I found had 4 points or not–it did! While I am not an official scorer, I taped it at 61 5/8 with a main beam of 22″! Pretty awesome for my first shed of the year!

    Was out this weekend helping a buddy take down some stands snow was about knee deep don’t think I will be looking for awhile yet
