A couple found during the second gun season

    These were found right next to each other 30 yards from a stand I bow hunt a lot. They were found by a buddy of mine during the second gun season. My hat is in the middle of them for size reference.

    That is a great set!! Is that a fresh drop or 1 year old? Hard to say from the small picture but I would bet it is the 2009 antlers.

    Might be time to start looking again?

    My guess is they are from 2009. The brow tines were both chewed up a bit. Although I would have thought they would have been more chewed up than they were for laying for a year.

    Great find! And I thought the same thing in that they are from 2009. It looks like the G2 and G3 on the right side is pretty bleached out compared to the main beams which were most likely buried under the leaves.
