I am heading to our hunting land this weekend to give shed hunting a try for the first time. How long do I have until they start to get eaten up or petrified or whatever it is that makes them dissapear? Nice find, I don’t think my rookie eyes would have picked that up.

They are being chewed by mice and squirrels as we speak. I’m sure there are some good ones left out there…my brother found a nice one during turkey season a couple of years ago in a field….not a chew mark on it! Good luck with your search!

    Nice work Scott

The sheds in fields will be ok but the ones in the woods are getting chewed as we speak (like Mike said)

    Darn tree rats

Today I checked my cams again and had 2 small bucks still holding both sides.
