Okay, i know it’s not a set of sheds but the guy who found the buck was looking for sheds when he found this deer. My uncle sent this e-mail to me and you can read the story below:
Hey –
The guy in the picture runs the warehouse at Wensman Seed. He has hunting property a half-mile north of our woods.
You might remember me telling you that I launched an arrow at the biggest deer I had ever seen last fall after rifle season but missed.
Well, he went to his woods over the weekend to look for sheds. He walked about 100′ and found a huge buck. The deer had a large hole in its side that appeared to be from a muzzle loader.
He got a permit and will be mounting the antlers.
I am sure this is the buck that I shot at. Damn. I better practice more before next year. I just hope that he was able to juice up a couple of does before he was killed. I would like to see his bloodlines stay in the neighborhood.
