I posted these before but thought I would do it again under our new shed forum!

This matching set was found over labor day weekend. As I was high up in the tree putting up a portable, my buddy looked down and found the right side right under my tree! I was hootin and hollerin up in the tree and I told him to look around because sometimes they drop them both right in the same area. He looked for 10 seconds and said “the other side is right here!”

I measured both sides and they totaled around 132″. So if this buck and an 18″ spread we would gross 150″.

I only got to hunt this area over the gun season and I never saw him. I also did not hear of anyone getting him either. Hopefully he’s still around! I need to get up there again and look for his sheds this year!!!

I have never been able to find a shed. Unfortunately i have not found good hunting land until this past season That being said, i have not found a shed before Are they really that bleached out and obvious to see when there isn’t snow on the ground?? Im hoping to go next weekend before i leave for mexico and it’s supposed to be warm next week so hopefully there shouldn’t be much snow left on the ground. What color are the sheds you guys normally find??

These sheds were very bleached out because I found them labor day weekend so the sun did its thing. The amazing part about these sheds is that they were in good shape and the squirrels and other critters didn’t chew them up.

The longer it takes you to find them, the more likely they will be bleached.

Great find…not too often you find them that time of year with no chew marks…and to find a matching set to boot

Grifter, Those antlers look as close to a mirror image as you can get. Very hard to find one even partially intact that time of year.
