Went out with a new friend to show her the ropes about fishing on rivers recently. She made the long drive from Colorado Springs to figure out how to catch trout with Lures. She never had caught a fish in the river or with any lure….until this day🥳😀
Fished the Eagle river and it was muddy…but the weather was very agreeable, with sunshine most of the day and only some small gusts of wind here and there. I of course had her use some of the dynamic lures and taught her how to identify water and how to use a lure in the river. She had good success and landed three really good looking brown trout! Now she said she’s going to go home and show her family what she learned and get more people into the great sport of fishing! These types of days always make me feel good…Hard to beat the look on someone’s face when they figure out how to catch fish!
