My spud bar has gotten very dull over the years. How would a fella even go about trying to sharpen one?

I use a 4″ angle grinder. But any grinder will work fine.

same here……but dont get the cutting edge hot.

i’ll start with a somewhat course wheel, then i fine wheel to touch it up.

the other thing i do, i made mine, is anybody that even looks like there going to put the chisel head down on the edge on anything but ice gets a good tongue lashing!!! whistling doah

The edge on my spud is stepped, so I just use a file.
