Well I’ve been down here almost a year now and am finally getting to know a few local lakes. The fishing/ pleasure traffic pressure down here is insane and in order to actually fish it has to be early or late on week days with shitty weather when everyone else is at home. I have found taking a step back and going back to the basics have been the best route for consistently catching numbers and big fish. Lots of people down here are chasing that next best lure that just came out. Something about that Lindy rig. 
There is a reason it’s been around since the late 1960’s.
