You bet Quintin always nice to fill the spring best time of year to be in the woods.
NE all set
SD set
WI set
MN set
and taking another round in WI skipping Missouri this spring.
I’m chomping at the bit to get into the woods! This year I think it’s going to be
NE Early Season Archery
NE Shotgun
SD Archery
MN
WI
KY
It can’t come soon enough!
I’d rather watch golf on TV than shoot a turkey.
In all seriousness, good luck this spring fellas. I’ll think of you stalking turkeys in the tick-infested wilderness, all while jigging up some fat spring river walleyes.
Geez… you boys will be putting on some miles. I presume this means some spring turkey footage? I look forward to seeing that.
I feel a little lonely only getting to hunt in Minnesota. It will be my 11 year old daughters 2nd season. Hope I can get her out in better weather this year than last. 10 year olds and Upper 20’s and low 30’s is not a good mix. The following weekend was mid to upper 50’s and the birds put on a great show. Wish she could have gotten to see that. Hopefully this season
You guys know they sell those yard birds pretty cheap in the grocery store right? Good luck!

Trips cancelled! What is the protocol for bringing shotguns into a grocery store? Are the birds pressured, or do you think I could bring a bow too? Any stores you’ve found to be better than others? I’m not looking for a feed lot shoot either!
You will need to get out of the metro for that Ben! You can use a bow, just make sure it’s thawed out first, arrows are expensive lol. Oh and I prefer Coborn’s, the birds are a little sportier there.

I’m in year two for my 10 year old also. She is super pumped. Even after the skunk incident last year….

No offense Andy, but anyone who skoffs at 15″ perch is a bit cracked in my very humble opinion.

Id rather fish for Asian carp than any of that lol

So true. That is proof of what his work and thoughts are worth. Cracked for sure
Looks like everyone has a full boat this spring. If a guy didnt have basically two months to cram it all in I would definetly do more. I know that I Iowa, Wisconsin, nebraska as well possibly wyoming and idaho will happen in the next 5 years.
