Rhis might be a very stupid question, but im asking anyway.

I have a detached 24×24 outbuilding, stick built. I want to get rid of it and start over and build a 24×60 with higher ceilings, as thats the max allowed on my property. Rather than scrap mine entirely, is it possible to sell and have it moved? Its only 5 years old and in great condition.

Yes i also realize i could just add on, but i have a variety of reasons for wanting to start over that arent really important to this conversation.

just for reference I was going to move that same size garage this past summer.
It was going to cost $5500 to move it 15 miles in Meeker county. The big expense was they had to go though Dassel.

As mentioned moving it is the big expense.
This can vary greatly based on location also.

You may be best off selling it very cheap or at no cost just to not have the teardown/disposal cost.

Make sure to have a good signed agreement with the “purchasing” party for liability of any damages caused in the process.
