We have an annual family camping trip and everybody looks forward to getting together. Since the dynamics of the family is changing, (getting more spread out) we are looking at a different area a bit more central for everyone’s drive time. Was there a Trever or something like that who ran a resort north or Alex? BK might have been up there last Fall? Also the Spicer area would be the ideal area. Resort will need to have some camping and a couple cabins, pet friendly, have a few things to do, but be close to bike trails and other things to explore. My mom is done camping, unless we rent her a small hard sided, but a hotel room nearby would also work. Good fishing is a bonus, but panfish would do just fine. We usually shoot for the last week of June. Let me know what you have experienced and I’ll start from there. Please no Mille Lacs stuff as we have land up there and the garage wouldn’t be kind for 11-12 people and 3 dogs. Thanks, Pete

Pull in to Vacationland and feel right at home. We went for 3 or 4 days last fall. I have a week booked this year.

There were people catching walleyes, pike and smaller perch from what I saw. We were sturgeon hunting.

Good luck with where ever you go Chomps!

I will not camp and sleep on the ground if someone 100′ away from me is in a nice bed. I would do BWCA again.
