I will be heading down to Pool 4 on Sunday to test out a new toy (Xi5) and to get some much needed time on the water. I’ve got my rods rigged up to pretty much fish any method that I could possibly want: jigging, cranking or tight lining.
My efforts will be focused from Everts to the Dam. Without a doubt I will be doing a little slipping and jigging downstream along with cranking upstream to test the trolling motor. Anyone having any luck fishing the wingdams right now? Or any recent info concerning that section of the river.
I really enjoy fishing for cats & sturgeon so I don’t want to bang my head against a wall to long fishing for walleye if it just isn’t very productive right now.
