See something, say something

Hopefully it’s just a dead battery or truck issue, but monday morning I seen a White Ram parked at Wealthwood access with a empty trailer behind it. It was there last night when I went home after work and I thought to myself, that’s a hardcore fisherman. The truck is still there this morning, unmoved, so I called the Local CO and they are going to do a welfare check on the truck owner. I can’t see staying out for days in a portable in this weather, but hope I am wrong.

Good job in calling it in. No harm in doing so. Hopefully the owner is found safe and well.

I saw that truck there on Sunday morning and it was covered in snow so it has been there for awhile.

That’s odd he did not take your name and #. The few times I’ve called a CO. My name and Phone # was one of the first things they asked me for. I believe I git a call back from them each time.

I introduced myself to start the conversation… most people say, can you spell that for me… he didn’t. It would have been nice to know the scenario, but just glad I don’t see the facebook posts about it.

did you get the CO’s name? maybe call him and check?

He undoubtedly had your number because of caller ID so if he really wanted or needed to get in touch with you he wouldve. Wouldnt even need your name based on what they have access to. Good on you for calling it in and hopefully they are safe and sound.

It’s probably just an EV pickup and he was waiting for warmer weather to charge it
