When wiping down my boat, I noticed a quarter size glob of grease that came out of my seastar steering grease zirc under the motor. Was this due to the heat today with expansion? Or did the dealer possibly fill it to much at the 3 year service?

The sea star system doesn’t use grease. If it is truly grease, it is from the motor pivot points.

^^ What Dave said and I would bet it’s just extra from when it was last lubed.

But if concerned, just wipe it off and keep an eye on it. waytogo
