Season is finally here!!!!

    Took this today locals are out setting up their nets. Solid 6 inches of clear ice! Looks like I’m trying for early season pike tomorrow!

    Wow! Care to send some of that cold air our way??? I can’t take bow hunting in 70 degree weather anymore…

    Well the day started slow brought mostly pike gear and all I could find were small white fish. But luckily had some small jigs and got this little guy.

    But the day turned for the better, suddenly the little white fish swarming below disappeared so I switched back to a 3/8 jig and a 6″ white soft plastic and got managed to get this through the ice

    I’ll admit it… I’m jealous.. Still showing mid to upper 50’s for the next 10+ days here in central MN..Not good!

    Yep that’s right 60th parallel in northern Canada….Northwest Territories
